550 Legacy Project

The aim of this project is to spread the awareness message of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj to a wider audience via community engagement.

550 years ago Akal Purukh Waheguru came to this earth during the dark age of kaljug and took on the physical form to live amongst us as Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. They brought us three fundamental teachings in which individuals should live their lives and these techniques form the foundation of this project, we can also call them the Three Golden Rules.

The Legacy

We want you to get involved, from organising Kirtan Events to Outreach Programs, it doesn’t matter how old or young you are, there is no limit to getting yourself involved. This project is for everyone to remember Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and their teachings.

The project can be approached as a twofold system, one is to educate the wider community (Non Sikhs) by spreading the word of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Secondly we can educate our Sikh community, the teachings of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj so that we can implement these into our daily lifestyles and routine.
