Summer Smagam 2019

Summer Smagam 2019 biggest and most prestigious events to be held in the West Midlands this year we will be marking the  550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Sampoorantha Divas of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This Event has been running successfully since 2016. With the support of the Sangat, Gurughars in West Midlands.

2019 is a milestone year for Sikhs as it marks 550th year since the birth of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The smagam will run from Monday 19th August to Monday 26th August 2019 at West Smethwick Park, Smethwick, B67-7JJ. This park is based in the heart of Smethwick where there is dense population of Sikhs and is easily accessible for sangat to travel.

We will be running divans and workshops aimed at engaging Young Sikhs to attend the event and learn more about their faith. The evening structure will be mainly divan based where world famous Kirtani, Katha Vachik’s and Kaveeshri from India will be attending. Each year we have been blessed with the presence and blessings of Sant Mahapursh from across the world making this event a great success.
